ok obviously its not that long of a wait but let me get the story out first.
ok so i havent bought a pokemon game since silver. and im going on a looong 7 hour trip soon and want something to do besides listen to led zeppelin.but i leave the 19th, platinum comes out 22nd. i can probebly get a used version of diamond and pearl for like 15$. basically is platinum going to be much much better or just a little better. also i havent gotten one in a long time cause my parents think ive grown out of it…..well in a sense i have the show i dont watch, the card game i never played, but the games are awsome. so how to i explain it to them.
You will have to pre-order to get it. Platinum does have much more too it and a different storyline. In part anyway. That all boils down to personal preference. I am a 22 year old veteran. I still watch the show, I did get back into cards shortly but it’s too expensive. I have diamond and pre-ordered Platinum.
Since you haven’t played since 2nd gen I will say much has changed. You probably won’t see older pokemon until farther ion the game. And not to sound condescending but you will probably not like the new pokemon.
